Service
PPC and Local Services Ads
Paid search can put your business in front of people searching today, and you pay for every click or lead. We are not taking PPC clients yet. Here is what paid search costs and how we will run it once it opens.
Who it is for
Paid search makes sense when you need calls sooner than search work can bring them. When it opens, it will suit:
- Seasonal businesses that want ads running in their busy weeks and switched off in the quiet ones.
- Owners already running Google Ads who never see the search terms their money went on.
- Anyone who wants a hard monthly cap on ad spend and a say in every budget change.
What is included
- A weekly review of the search terms that triggered your ads, with the useless ones blocked.
- Negative keywords, the words that tell Google not to show your ad, kept current from those reviews.
- Ad tests, with the weaker version retired once the numbers settle.
- Hard budget caps that you set, and no budget change without your approval.
- Your ads account linked to our manager account, with billing staying in your name.
What paid search costs
LocaliQ publishes search ad benchmarks by industry. For Dentists & Dental Services, the average cost per click is $8.00 and the average cost per lead is $72.97. LocaliQ has no HVAC category; its closest, Home & Home Improvement, averages $8.33 a click and $90.92 a lead (LocaliQ).
These are averages across LocaliQ customers' Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns, and the report does not say which months they cover. Your costs depend on your town and on who else bids for the same searches.
Local Services Ads
Local Services Ads charge for leads instead of clicks, and only some kinds of business can run them. The US list includes HVAC and dentists and has no medical spa category (Google Local Services Help).
Google has replaced the old Google Guarantee badge with a single Google Verified badge, which advertisers get once they pass Google's screening and verification. Google no longer offers the Money Back Guarantee the old badge carried (Google Local Services Help).
Before you pay for a single click
A paid click lands on a page of your site. If a phone visitor cannot tap your number or find a quick way to ask for a quote, you pay for the visit and will likely lose the customer (tap-to-call check, quote form or booking link check). The free scan checks those basics before any ad money is spent.
What it costs
We are not taking PPC clients yet, so there is no price to publish. The price goes on the prices page before we take the first client, and everyone on the waitlist hears from us when it opens.
How the work gets done
- You join the waitlist through the request form. The steps below start once the service opens.
- You accept a link request from our manager account inside your own Google Ads account.
- You set a hard monthly budget cap, and every budget change waits for your approval.
- Each week the search terms are reviewed, negative keywords added and the ad tests checked.
- If you leave, you remove the link and keep the account with its full history.
Access we ask for
- Google Ads: accept a link request from our manager account.
You grant each role from your own account, and you can remove it from the same screen. We never ask for a password. The access guide shows every step.
What you approve
- Every ad budget change.
What we do not promise
- A cost per lead. The benchmarks here are other advertisers' averages; your market sets your price.
- A number of leads or calls.
- Lower click prices. Google's auction sets them, and nobody outside Google controls it.
- A date for when the service opens.
Questions
When will PPC management open?
We have not set a date, and we will not guess at one. Join the waitlist and you will hear from us when it opens.
What will PPC management cost?
Nothing is priced yet. You will see the price before you decide, because it is published before anyone signs up. Your ad spend is separate, and Google bills it to you directly.
Should I start with ads or with SEO?
Ads, if you need calls soon and can pay for each one. Search work, if you can wait months and would rather not pay for each visit. Either way, fix the landing page first, because both depend on it.
Do I keep my Google Ads account?
Yes. We link it to our manager account and never move it or your billing into our name. If you leave, you remove the link and keep everything in it.
Can you run Local Services Ads for us?
Yes, once the service opens, if Google offers Local Services Ads for your category in your area. Google publishes the list of eligible categories (Google Local Services Help).
I already have an agency running my ads. Should I switch?
Only if they fall short where it matters. You should be able to see your own account, read the search terms your ads ran on, and approve budget changes. If you have all of that, stay.
