Not sure what is wrong with your website?
Answer three questions before the free scan runs. The report's dollar estimate begins from the starting assumptions for your industry, and the findings about your worry are open when the report appears.
Three questions
What your answers change
Your type of business sets the starting assumptions behind the report's dollar estimate: the value of one customer to your business, and how often a visitor turns into one. They are rough numbers to begin from, and they make no claim about what is typical in your industry. The report shows them in a small form above the estimate, and when you type in your own, the estimate is worked out again in your browser.
Your worry decides which findings start open. Above the findings, a short note says how many the scan found about it and, for some worries, what the free scan cannot see about it. If you are not sure, nothing starts open and you read the report from the top. The scan runs the same checks whatever you answer, the ones listed on the method page.
The scan reads the site at the address you give, just as if you had typed it into the box on the scan page.
What the quiz does not do
The quiz does not diagnose anything by itself. Every finding comes from the scan: from the pages it reads on your site, plus real-visitor speed data or a single lab test.
It asks for no email and keeps nothing. Your type of business and your worry ride along in the link to the scan page, and that page uses them in your browser to set up the report. Of your three answers, our scanner uses only the website address. As with any scan, we hold on to the result for 6 hours; scan the same site again within that time and the report comes back at once, unless you have reached the scan limit.
A few worries touch things the free scan cannot see, such as where you show up on the map or what your reviews say. With JavaScript on, the quiz names those as soon as you pick the worry, so you know before you scan. Every gap like that is listed on the method page.
If you already know the problem
Go straight to the free scan. The quiz only changes how the report opens. You can still choose your business type in the report's estimate form. All you give up is the note about your worry and having its findings open for you.
Questions
Does the quiz change what the scan finds?
No. The scan works from your web address alone, so your type of business and your worry cannot change what it finds. What changes is where the dollar estimate starts and which findings are open when the report loads.
What if my kind of business is not in the list?
Pick "Any local business". Its starting numbers are our general defaults, not tied to any industry. Then put your own numbers into the report: your monthly visitors, how many of them come from search, how many become customers and what one customer is worth.
Why does the quiz not ask for my email?
Nothing it does needs one. The report appears on the scan page, in the same tab. To keep it, you can save it at a private link, no email needed. The report asks for an email address only if you want a copy sent to you or the site watched weekly.
